Nethermond
What is nethermond? Nethermond is a texturepack to tweak the textures for Netherite items in Minecraft. It makes Netherite tools look like Netherite partially plated over diamond, to be consistent with how its made in game. It's intended to feel vanilla, and not be distracting visually, just a tweak to let the diamond shine through while being clear its still Netherite.
It also does not include armor textures, those are planned for a future update.
FAQ:
-
Why did you make this texturepack?
I always imagined the player plating Netherite over diamond, so that's what this pack is!
-
Does this pack work on Bedrock Edition? Do you have any plans to make a Bedrock Port?
The pack supports Minecraft: Java edition, and not Bedrock. If I do ever make a port it would likely not receive the same attention / updates.
-
When will you add armor textures?
Presumably in 2.0. At some point I'll release a beta for testing out armor before putting it in the main pack.
-
Is this texturepack compatible with my favorite mods?
As it is a texture pack it retains compatibility with all mods that don't remove or alter the textures for Netherite items; for mods that add new Netherite items to Minecraft, it currently does not have textures for those, although that is something planned with no hard deadline.
-
What versions of Minecraft does the pack support?
Nethermond supports all updates in the 1.21 family, as well as a packport for 1.20.1 since thats most common for modpacks.
-
Is Nethermond available for the latest version of Minecraft?
As I experience linear time I cannot tell you if it is up to date when you're reading it or not: however I do try to keep it updated with the latest version whenever I find time.
-
Is there a discord or anywhere I can report suggestions or issues?
Not at the moment but I've considered it, I'll most likely do that at some point.
-
Can I include Nethermond in my Modpack / Youtube Video etc?
Feel free to use it in a Modpack! as long as it has a link back here and you don't attempt to say it's you're own; same with youtube videos, you are more than welcome to feature/talk about/use it in any media you make as long as you're not attempting to say you made it. Any other uses fall under common sense and the GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0 or later.

What is your favorite type of Pie?
Pecan.
